Collection: The Piemonte Wine List

A marked rise in the number of winemakers and in the quality of their wines, alongside the climatic variations keeps the scenery changing.  Essentially though, the soul of Piemonte wines remain unchanged, the number and quantity of new wines is negligible since the formalisation of wines that was the birth of DOC and DOCG from 1966.  Nebbiolo, the grape responsible for Barolo is now recognised as the versatile genius that it is, Barbera remains misunderstood, a heartwarming, welcoming wine and Dolcetto is a grape with so much character, even winemakers do not seem to see just how good it is.
