Out of the disastrous hail storm of 2021 was born ‘Ferruccio’, an Alto Piemonte wine that married grapes from Lorenzo's young Lessona vines with grapes bought in from Ghemme; a marriage of sand and silt. It was to be a one-off, a wine strong enough to season a new botti, but it turned out far better than expected. We loved it!
