There is an energy and freshness to this wine; white flowers on the nose, a pure balance of citrus, hazelnut and salt-laced fruit.

The vineyard is on a beautiful gentle slope of pre-glacial sedimentary rock close to the cellar near Gragnano. Woodland and meadows surround, pleasingly, not overrun by vineyard; life is in good health in this corner of the universe.
Winemaking here is technically minimal: half the crop pressed pneumatically, half basket-pressed, both fermented together in steel using wild yeasts, no temperature control. The wine is kept on the lees for 3 months, then racked to settle-out naturally. Bottling is in Spring, without filtration.
2024 was a great vintage, far from easy after a 7 year drought, followed by an early warm and humid Spring. This was replaced by an unusually cold and wet May. Midway through June the sun returned, no rain fell until September. To help the vines through these extremes, 14 biodynamic treatments were applied, the crop was surprisingly good.
