2021 was a disaster for Paolo’s harvest, there was not enough quality fruit to make a Bramaterra, so Paolo created a one-off Vino Rosso (unclassified red wine) that was made to be simply  the best wine possible, no attempt was made to follow his usual path.  The result is excellent, an early drinking wine with great complexity, a great wine in so many ways.

The Nebbiolo is from La Palazzina and the Croatina and Vespolina from Brusnengo; it is possible to get a tractor between the rows at La Palazzina, whereas the old vineyard at Brusnengo is a labour of love.
