There is serious weight, and a lovely loose, easy drinkability about this wine. 2012 is sometimes described as a purists vintage, a cold winter, wet spring and normal summer, nothing extreme. The ripeness is correct and the wine simply feels right, grounded, with the constituent parts required for a long life.  13.9%

The wine has evolved and since 2005m Beato only appears as a Riserva and is only made in the best years.
The grapes are taken from the vineyard of the same name, it is a totally different proposition to the other Brunelli and is the only one fermented and aged in French tonneaux (500 litre barrels) for 24 months.
