Strawberry, damson and vanilla on the nose, bright black cherry, loganberry and violet fruit, mature cappuccino-tinged tannins.  Certainly, a young tasting wine, and this vintage is very enjoyable at this stage, it has huge potential.  12.5%

Bulfon only makes this wine in their best years, so it never disappoints.
The grapes are hand-picked in small crates, de-stemmed and fermented in temperature-controlled steel tanks.  The wine is then aged in barriques for twelve months (one third new wood, one third second passage and one third, third passage*).  This introduces barrique flavours and increases the proportion of tannin in the wine.  The result is a longer-lived wine that is less approachable in its youth (as a rule).
