This is named after the vineyard below Massimo’s home which is planted with Nebbiolo and Croatina.  It is an old vineyard and a part of it goes towards this classic Uvaggio (also, the previous name for this wine) while a part is used for Lessona.  The Croatina makes up half the blend, it is an early budder and is susceptible to frost damage, as in 2018 where the Nebbiolo is in the ascendency.  An extraordinary wine, with delicate spice and pure damson fruit. 13%

Horse manure is used as fertilizer in the vineyards, we have defined this as Vegan friendly, but some may not agree.
