Trebbiano from the Abruzzo, which can be made from any member of the Trebbiano family within the Abruzzo DOC area.  The Sangro growers prefer Trebbiano Toscano; their vines are trained on high pergolas that follow the river Sangro, along  north and northeast facing slopes.  The vines have a perfect average age of 15 years, and thanks to the rapid drop in altitude from mountain to sea, the vines enjoy constant, and refreshing breezes.
