Bresca Dorada. Mirto di Sardegna
Mirto is Sardinia's classic liqueur and digestivo.
Made from an infusion of myrtle berries that are hand-harvested between November and January, mostly from wild plants and a small amount of cultivated fruit.
The berries are macerated in pure grain alcohol for at least three months to fully extract their aromatic substances. The only additions are sugar, and a little honey and water.
