Marco Sambin. 'Psyche'
Garganega delle TreVenezie IGT
Beautifully clear, old gold with dried apricot, dried hay and apple aromas. The fruit is delicate and nuanced; honey, apricot and bruised apple with a touch of salty fino. The finish is long, delicate and subtle. 10.5%

Garganega is the vine responsible for the Veneto’s great white wine; Soave and the less well known neighbour Gambellara. The next volcanic outcrop before dropping into the Adriatic is the Colli Euganei, and it is here that Marco Sambin has chosen to make a completely different interpretation.
The vineyard is farmed biodynamically, it has a south to southwestern exposure, the vines are planted on steep terraces using a combination of spurred cordon and a wired Alberello system.
