Vicentini. Soave 'Terrelunghe'
Grapes: Garganega and Trebbiano di Soave
A beautiful bottle of wine, the label was designed by a local amateur artist who is a friend of the family, it is very difficult to photograph and looks considerably better in real life than on a computer screen.
30 year old vines are trained using a traditional pergola system, most planted on alluvial and mid-weight clays.
Around 120 hl/ha are taken during a hand harvest. The grapes are sorted before a soft pressing and long fermentation in temperature-controlled steel tanks. The malolactic conversion is usually partial, though this depends very much on the vintage.
