Grape: Garganega

Peach stone and floral on the nose, a very fine balance of where ripe, fresh elegant fruit is forged onto a mineral core, courtesy of the ancient volcanic rock that the vines are planted on.

The vineyards are at an altitude of two hundred on volcanic soils, they are trained using a guyot system and 60 hl/h are taken. Unusually, this is a pure Garganega and exclusively from the vineyard of Casale. The grapes are hand picked, sorted and fermented in temperature controlled steel tanks.

Special past vintage note:
2014
We particularly liked the 2014, it was a wet vintage yet with careful vineyard management the vines reached a full, natural ripeness.
