Boisterous raspberry and bramble fruit with flashes of floral elegance on the nose. Very enjoyable forward, fresh, full dark bramble and ripe plumy fruit. A perfect way to enter the world of Nebbiolo.

This is the blueprint for Nebbiolo d’Alba: organically farmed vineyards (status: under conversion) on sandy clays at an altitude of 200m in the communes of Castellero and Mombello. These vines were planted in 1970 using a simple, low density (2400 plants per hectare) Guyot system.
The harvest is carried out by hand, grapes are transferred to the winery in small crates. Fermentation is in steel and cement tanks while malolactic conversion and ageing is in Slovenian oak botti (40hl) for 8 months. The wine is bottled and aged for at a minimum of 8 months in bottle before its release.
