Collection: Colline di Sopra

Ulrich is a widely travelled Swiss national who spent years  looking for his ideal vineyard in Switzerland and Germany, before extending his search to Italy, Colline di Sopra was his first and last Italian stop. Montescudaio is just 10 km from the sea, the dominant hills enjoy constant breezes and the climate is cooler than the more famous coastal Tuscan wine zones. The soils are clay mixed with sand and small stones on maritime limestone. The vines are farmed on strict organic and biodynamic principals, using wild-yeast fermentations and neither sulphites nor filtration.

This is hardcore, detailed winemaking, executed with passion and finesse.
