Rich bramble and herb on the nose, cinnamon and powdered chocolate. Red berry, tart cherry and strawberry with an undercurrent of liquorice and charred red peppers. 13%

The vineyard is planted at 5000 vines/Ha using a 'cordone speronato' system. Two kg of fruit are taken from each vine, the Sangiovese and Bombino are picked first in the middle of September, then the Montepulciano and finally the Nero di Troia.
Fermentation is in steel tanks and lasts seven days with a regular pumping over.
The wine is aged for six months in steel and bottled with a light filtration.
